LUPINER

Lupiner is a site-responsive dance performance, weaving dance and music on the soft edge of Operastranda. We invite you to watch dancing bodies gliding in and out of the water, accompanied by the haunting sound of the Kamancheh and the poetry of Iranian dance. This is a moment to Pause. Listen. Feel. Adapted from The Lady from the Sea by Henrik Ibsen, Lupiner interlaces the personal narratives of three women artists. Together, they weave a tapestry of longing and belonging, of memory and migration.
